Lou lous Vintage Fair

I first saw this event advertised on Social media. And I decided to visit. The atmosphere was brilliant people of all ages from modern attire to vintage. Era’s are from 1920 to 1980.Lou lous visit different cities each weekend either on a Saturday or a Sunday . They go to 40 different cities often visiting 3 or 4 times a year at a set venue. It starts at 11am and finishes at 5pm It costs £2-2.50 to get in.There are many stalls including brick a brac, homeware, fashion in both men’s and women’s, vinyl records, hair accessories and general accessories.Woman’s clothing goes from original vintage and repro brands. And 1 stall holder i have seen, even makes her own designs. Most stall holders are local to your region and travel to other cities in your region as some of them make a living from going to these fairs.Also they often have singers and bands playing music for you. A cake stall where you can choose your refreshment of choice and some lovely delicious cakes. All served in China cups and kitsch plates. Oh and they usually have a hair pop up salon too where you can book to have your hair done in a vintage style . And sometimes with make up too.I’ve been visiting now for 2 and half years and thoroughly enjoy Lou Lous.
