Recently i went to the Festival of Vintage at the York racecource. It is on the last weekend of April celebrating 1930s to 1960s. From 10 til 5pm both days including a separate Saturday night event.
There are displays, classic vehicles dancing and shopping. There is live music on 2 different stages. There is a barbers for the gents and hairdressing for the ladies.
I first went last year and had a great day loved the shopping had my hair styled by Sarah Bloor of pin up curl. This year it was Le Keux vintage salon , having lovely victory rolls done. The sun was out so we could sit out on the champagne lawn and eat our picnic. This year it was wet but luckily as it’s indoor too there were 4 floors of shopping . There are a few bars and 2 restaurants be warned hot food runs out quickly and it’s best to take a picnic. There sandwiches are really nice and they do salads too.

As you can see everyone gets dressed up in there favourite era. And there are plenty more stalls to buy clothes from in vintage style.
